The Bivou, located in the UNESCO World Heritage site of Lijiang, is a designer guesthouse for the modern adventurer. Housed within two historic farmyards built by the area’s Naxi minority tribe, the 16 rooms look out over private gardens landscaped to reflect the full color and fragrances of the changing seasons.

Built around houses that have stood on the site for over a hundred years, The Bivou stays true to its roots and celebrates the authentic building techniques of the local villagers. At the same time, sustainability and environmentally friendly are the keys to the design: from the use of bamboo floors in the interiors, to the installation of super-efficient LED lighting throughout the lodge; solar panels provide renewable heat to all our guest rooms, and insulated glass ensures maximum comfort within even during cold nights.
On top of this, Bivou has its own unique touches. It has imbued its rooms and spaces with aesthetic sense which wouldn’t be out of place in Shanghai or New York.

The below rates are valid from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2019 until further notice.
The above room rates are quoted in RMB and valid from 1 January to 31 December 2019.
The above room rates are inclusive to 10% service charge, prevailing government tax (if applicable) and breakfast for two persons (breakfast for four/ six persons for Garden Villa).
Additional charge for the Breakfast: RMB 55/person/day ; RMB 55/child (aged 4 - 12)/day; free of charge for child aged under 4.
Maximum occupancy: two adults. Free of charge for one child when travelling with adults and using existing bedding.
Extra bed at RMB127 net per room per night (subject to availability), inclusive of buffet breakfast.
The official hotel check-in time is 2 pm and check-out time is 12 noon.
For late check-out at 6 pm, 50% of the room rate will be charged. And after 6 pm, full day room rate will apply.
Cancellation & amendment policy: Less than 5 working days prior to the arrival date and no-show, full room rates will be charged. The Bivou Lijiang will charge your credit card directly should there be any late cancellation, amendment and no-show.
Should there be any refund; a handling fee which is equivalent to 3.5% of the refund amount will be charged.
Upon confirmation of the booking, a deposit is required to guarantee the booking. Silk Road Hotel Management Co. Ltd. will contact you for the payment arrangement.
No refund for any early check-out.
