The Linden Centre is located in Dali, Yunnan Province, China. First built in 1947, the property iss the former residence of Yang Pinxiang, one of the renowned local merchants during the Republic of China period. The property embodies the traditional Bai architectural style. In 2008, the American couple Lindens restored and transformed it into a unique cultural exchange centre and boutique hotel that aims to preserve and disseminate the traditional Bai heritage.
With the Himalayan foothills providing a stunning backdrop, guests can reside in a beautiful restored national relic within a thriving village. A haven of rest and relaxation, the Linden Centre offers opportunities for reflection and meaningful interaction at a comfortable distance from the more commercialized ancient town of Dali.
There are 16 guestrooms and each of them is uniquely decorated with carefully selected items to reflect the Lindens’ appreciation of Chinese culture. The complex is equipped with a full-service bar, billiards and table tennis room, library, fitness room, kids’ room, and two beautiful terraces that look out at the fields and mountains. The on-site restaurant and café serves Chinese food with a selection of seasonal delicacies and it can cater to special dietary needs.

The above room rates are quoted in RMB and valid from 1 January to 31 December 2020.
The above room rates are inclusive of tax, service charge, and breakfast for two persons (for Family Suite, it will include breakfast for four persons). Additional breakfast at RMB50/person/day.
Baby cot can be arranged at RMB170/night.
Extra bed at RMB270/bed/night (subject to availability), including breakfast.
The official hotel check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 12 noon.
During the peak season (24 – 31 January and 1 – 7 October 2020), a minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
Cancellation & amendment policy: between 2 and 7 working days prior to the arrival date, 50% of the total room rate will be charged. For less than 2 working days or no-show, the total amount of the room rate will be charged.
For late check-out at 6 pm, 50% of the room rate will be charged. And after 6 pm, full day room rate will apply.
Should there be any refund, a handling fee which is equivalent to 3.5% of the refund amount will be charged.
No refund for any early check-out.
Upon confirmation of the booking, a deposit is required to guarantee the booking. Silk Road Hotel Management Co. Ltd. will contact you for the payment arrangement.
