  Shanghai Ranks 6th in Lonely Planet's Best in Travel 2014

[6-1-2014] The world's leading travel guide Lonely Planet has recently published a new book Best in Travel 2014, recommending the most popular countries and cites to travel in 2014. Being regarded as a must-see city in China, Shanghai is ranked sixth among the Lonely Planet’s List of 2014 Top 10 Cities. Shanghai is described as a prosperous city with skyscrapers and hilarious commercial areas. It also owns the third-longest metro network in the world. To provide convenience to short-haul visitors, Shanghai currently offers 72-hour visa-free transit for foreign visitors from 45 countries. Apart from Shanghai, Hunan, the province which is famous for its cultural blend of old and new, is named as Lonely Planet's ninth best region. Hunan’s unparalleled scenery and rich cultural aura, coupled with the growing investment market, allowing it to develop into a new tourist hot spot.
