[2012-1-6] Effective from 1 January 2012, passengers travelling throughout China by train should bring the train ticket with their name printed on it. And that all passengers are required to present their valid ID/travel document when they buy the train tickets and enter the train station. According to the representative of the China Railways, in the past, the train station staff checked the train tickets randomly but from now on, they will check all passengers’ train tickets to make sure the passenger’s name shown on the train ticket corresponds to the ticket holder’s identity. |
