New metro line in Shenzhen will launch next year |
[2015-10-15] The new metro line 7 which will connect the residential areas, Huanggang Immigration Port and the Huaqiang commercial district in Shenzhen, kicked started the construction in October. The new metro line will further improve the transportation network and the living environment of the local residents.
The new metro line 7 will cover around 32 kilometers and it will connect such districts as Futian, Luohu, Huangguan Port and Bao’an. The development of the new metro line in Huanggang Port allows Hong Kong residents to travel to Shenzhen more conveniently, it takes about three minutes’ walk to the metro station after going through the customs at Huanggang Port.
