Legend has it that during theSpring and Autumn Period, Fu Chai, the King of Wu, buried his father on a hill. Three days after the funeral, a white tiger was spotted atop that particular hill. Thus, the hill was named “Tiger Hill” afterward. Golden Autumn Tiger Hill Temple Fair is an influential traditional cultural festival in Suzhou, scheduled to be held from September to October every year, which showcases the Suzhou traditional folk features with various cultural performances. This year, Tiger Hill Temple Fair will be held from 29 September to 21October.
