Swedish guitarist has his own music concert in The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel |
[2018/8/8] The Swedish talented classical guitarist and composer Johannes Möller has arrived in Dunhuang, China for his own music concert to be held at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel on 11 August 2018.
Born in the music family, he played his first public concerts at the age of 13 and he is dubbed the “Swedish Mozart”. With his charismatic and soulful performance, he was awarded from among the most prestigious musical colleges in the world (Royal College of Music, London, Amsterdam Conservatory); international competition success (including the coveted Guitar Foundation of America Prize); and even an engraving of his name on the walls of the Concertgebouw concert hall in Amsterdam. The highly characterised and idiosyncratic voice of his performance has captivated audiences throughout the world.
In 2015, Möller travelled to 13 cities in China and started his music tour at the major music academies, with the aim of promoting the art of classical guitar. His visit had made learning classical guitar a trend in China. Setting scene in Dunhuang, an ancient city rich in Silk Road history, the upcoming concert will be held at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel which captures the living taste of the Tang Dynasty with its unique Silk Road architectural design.
