The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel Takes Strict COVID-19 Preventive and Control Measures |
On 14 July, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that cross-province, city and district group tourism could be resumed conditionally in seven regions in China. These seven regions include Shanghai, Southwest China's Sichuan and Guizhou provinces, East China's Jiangxi and Shandong provinces, Northwest China's Qinghai province, and Central China's Hunan province. With the resumption of the cross-provincial travel, it is expected that Dunhuang will become a hot tourist spot again this summer.
Although there is no outbreak of COVID-19 in Dunhuang, as a Culture Hotel pioneer, The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel is not taking the current situation lightly. Ensuring the health and well-being of our guests and staff ranks top of the list. During these challenging times, the following preventive measures have been implemented at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel:
- for visitors from Beijing, those from low risk areas should present a written report of negative result of a nucleic acid test conducted within the past seven days in order to stay at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel. For those from moderate and high risk areas, we regret that accommodation at The Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel cannot be arranged;
- measure body temperature for each guest;
- before check-in, every guest needs to have a “Travel Record QR Code” and a “Health QR Code” ready to be scanned at the hotel front desk. After verification, only those with green code will be arranged to check-in;
- disinfection of public areas like elevators and public restrooms regularly;
- all frontline staff are required to wear face masks;
- hand sanitizer is provided at the hotel front desk and on the dining tables of the hotel restaurants;
- follow guidelines and advice from local authorities.
Kind reminder: please check the latest local travel policy regarding Covid-19 before your departure.
