General
Zeng Ge Ling Qin played a vital role in the military history
in the mid 19th century of China (Qing Dynasty). In 1853,
he was entitled Prince by Emperor Dao Guang for his magnificent
victory against Tai Ping Tian Guo, which was the greatest
peasant uprising in 18th century of China. In 1859, he defeated
the united fleet of U.K and France. General Zeng died in battle
when his troops were sieged by another large-scale peasant
uprising called Nian Jun in 1865. Recorded historically that
General Zeng was so famous for his valiant, natural, and sincere
manner. He was regarded as "the Great Wall" of the country
by the Qing court.
As
